6 months old!

H is six months old! Sweet boy has had such a good month. He started fruits and veggies and started sitting up.

Stats were:

Weight: 17lbs 2 oz
Height: 27 in

We have had such a fun month and H has been so adaptable as we have been going and doing with Abby!

Family Reunion/ 4th of July

We headed down to Orange Beach in early July for our Kendrick family reunion. This has been a tradition for many years and it is always an event we look forward to.

Memorial Day

5 months old

The summer is flying by and Hampton is already 5 months old! He is such a happy boy and is always laughing and playing with his toes.

Food: We started rice cereal about a week ago and he got his first serving of bananas yesterday. He is still nursing every 2-2.5 hours and refuses formula. I am still not eating any milk products and they will test him for a milk allergy at 9 months.

Activity: We have had such a busy month. We have been to the beach twice and to the lake with friends. I think we are all excited to be home for a while. The car rides have been vicious. H hates the carseat and can scream for hours to get out. 

Sleep: H is napping twice a day for 2-3 hours and still not sleeping through the night. He wakes up around 3:00 to eat and then goes back to sleep until 7:00. He has been rolling from his tummy to his back during the night and this wakes him up. I know I could probably let him cry it out but I don't want to wake up Abby (who is waking up at least once a night now).

Four Months

Little man is 4 months old. What a joy he is to our family! His smiles and laugh melt my heart. We just made it home from our first vacation as a family of four. We had a great time and pictures will be posted soon. H did pretty good in the car with only a few 20-30 minute bursts of crying.

Height: 26 in (75%)
Diaper size: 2
Clothes size: 6 months
Nursing: every 2.5 hours
Sleep: 3 or 4 naps a day, starting to extend a few naps past 45 minutes. Bedtime is at 7:30 and he sleeps until 5:00 nurses and goes back to sleep until 7ish.
Likes: exersaucer, playmat, Praise Baby, nursing, watching Abby and Watson, napping with Mommy, playing with new baby toys
Dislikes: THE CARSEAT.

Summer Fun!

Preschool is out, which means I am having to come up with fun summertime activities for a two and a half year old and four month old. Not an easy task, especially in the midst of potty training.
