4 posts in 2 days. Quite a record for me. I think this is the last post I need to make to be caught up on our summer. Abby is 9 months old. It is so hard for me to imagine that she is 3 months away from her first birthday. With each month I see more and more of her little personality. She is such a happy baby. This month she has learned to wave (backwards) and clap. She loves to clap and claps all of the time. Usually her clapping is quickly followed by waving. She is very proud of her two new skills. She is trying very hard to crawl, but tends to get lazy and roll instead of scoot. She is also becoming more active. She is no longer content to play very long in her
exersaucer. She prefers rolling around in the den and playing with her toys. It did not take her long to spot the electrical cords and outlets. I can empty her toy drawer in front of her, and she will go right to the electrical cords, remote, or iPhone. Spending time with her is so enjoyable because she is always learning new things.
At her nine month appointment, she was 19.5 lbs (50-70%) and 29.25 inches (90%) (I think that is the right height, I did not write it down and forgot the exact measurement). They said that she is growing great and right along with normal developments for her age. Table food is her new favorite thing. She really enjoys feeding herself and likes to try whatever we are eating. I still get the gross look when I feed her certain foods, but all in all she is enjoying her new cuisine.
Favorite toys: baby dolls, rubber rings, bouncer, pink rattle, and Macy
We had professional pictures made this month which turned out wonderfully. I will scan them on as soon as I get an opportunity.
On another note, I will be starting back to work per diem at the Alabama Organ Center in August. I am scheduled to work everything weekend so things will most likely be crazy around the Anderson household as Reynolds plays Mr. Mom.
