Once again I am posting that Abby is another month older. 10 months old. 2 months away from her first birthday. This has been an exhausting month. Abby is very mobile and into everything. I started the month by picking up behind her all day. I now only pick up at nap time. I am pretty sure that it won't be long until I only clean up at bed time (or maybe not at all). I have been working on the weekends, 72 hours call (ranging from 24-36 hours straight per shift). Not a good month for Abby to learn to crawl (or maybe not a good month for me to go back to work). I have enjoyed being back in the hospital. I missed it more than I would have ever thought. There is something exciting about knowing you are saving a life. But this post is not about me...
Abby's favorite toys: iphone, remote control, and the oven (she likes to stare at herself in the reflection and laugh). All the other toys we have bought now bore her.
She has starting shaking to music and tries to sing when I am singing or listening to music. Maybe she will have great talent in the arts. I always wished I had.
She babbles all day long and actually says "mamamama" to me. She has outgrown all of her clothes and is now wearing 12-18 months. Her schedule is a dream come true for a worn out mom. She sleeps 12 hours at night and takes 2 two hour naps. Sorry to rub that in to all my mom friends that are fighting sleep issues.
I have been making a scrapbook for her first birthday. I thought it would be a great keepsake for her to always look back on. As I have gone through the pictures of her from 1-10 months I realize how fast time has gone. She is growing up so fast and I don't want to wish this time away.
Here are my favorite pictures from the month:
