P90X

I somehow let my sister talk me into buying P90X. I have been wanting to get rid of the extra baby weight I have and crunches do not seem to be doing the trick. Reynolds and I started Monday with P90X and I have only one word for it...TORTURE. This morning (after completing day 3) I could hardly get out of bed. Reynolds and I were both moaning and groaning as if we had been in a car accident the day before. I hope it is all going to be worth it. We are going to do before and after pictures to follow our progress. Although I will not be posting the pictures online, I will keep everyone up to date with my misery :)

Abby seems to be feeling a little better. Her congestion is gone and now her nose is running all the time. We have been captive in the house the last few days because I do not want to expose any of my friends kids to her. Our sleeping has gotten just a little bit better. She is waking twice at night now and starting to put herself to sleep again for naps. I just wish she would nap longer than 30 minutes. Sometimes if I go put the paci back in she will sleep another 30 minutes or so.

Tuesday night Reynolds and I had a much needed date night with our good friends Paul and Katie. They are getting married in a month! Although Katie and I see each other all the time the four of us do not get together near enough. We went to eat at Sol Y Luna and had a great time chatting and catching up. I am so blessed to have such great friends. Reynolds did make the mistake of doing P90X after eating at Sol Y Luna. Let's just say he should not have eaten crab enchiladas. :)

My best friend from highschool (Christy) called me yesterday and said that she and her family are moving back to Birmingham. I am so happy to have her back home and selfishly excited about another Mommy to hang out with.
